Darwin Day 2016
The DoB team in the Lutzoni lab put on an exhibit entitled “Evolution of symbiotic solar-powered fungi” for the Darwin Day event at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Francois Lutzoni and the lab members (Jolanta Miadlikowska, Ko-Hsuan Chen, Nicolas Magain and Carlos Pardo) introduced various lichen-forming, ectomycorrhizal and endophytic fungi to the public with microscopes, specimens, fungal cultures and a poster. http://www.viagrabelgiquefr.com/ A crowd of all ages showed great interest in our displays. This year’s Darwin Day event was estimated to gather 5,000+ attendees.
